The Peralta S, a one-of-a-kind Italian supercar, is set to make its first U.S. appearance at the Monterey Motorsports Festival on August 16. The bespoke creation by GFG Style was originally unveiled in Mexico and was commissioned by Mexican billionaire and collector Carlos Peralta. Its presence in Monterey will mark a major highlight during the world-famous Car Week festivities.
Heart of a Maserati MC20
While the exterior is fully custom, the Peralta S retains the proven underpinnings of the Maserati MC20. It features the same 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged Nettuno V6 engine, pushing out 621 horsepower to the rear wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. This ensures that the stunning visuals are backed by legitimate supercar performance credentials.
Wedge-Inspired Retro Styling

The design of the Peralta S takes inspiration from the 1972 Maserati Boomerang concept, a famed creation by Giorgetto Giugiaro. The new car showcases a dramatic wedge shape with polished aluminum body panels, carbon-fiber accents, and sharp geometric lines. One of its standout features is a single-piece canopy that opens forward, replacing traditional doors and giving the car a dramatic presence.
Interior: Modern Twist on Retro Cues

Inside, the Peralta S pays subtle homage to 1970s futurism. While the steering wheel nods to the radical Boomerang layout, the overall cabin features modern luxury and refinement.

Designer Fabrizio Giugiaro, son of Giorgetto, notes that the Peralta S honors the defiant spirit of his father’s iconic designs while embracing a contemporary supercar ethos.
An Automotive Art Piece on Display

This car marks GFG Style’s first one-off commission and reflects the company’s ability to balance heritage with innovation. Its appearance at Monterey is expected to draw collectors, designers, and enthusiasts eager to witness this unique creation up close. It stands as a celebration of both design excellence and mechanical prowess.

The Peralta S will be showcased exclusively at the Monterey Motorsports Festival on August 16. Adult tickets begin at $119, while children under 12 can attend for free. A New Chapter in the Giugiaro Legacy
The Peralta S isn’t just a car—it’s a statement. As a modern interpretation of a retro icon, it encapsulates the vision of both its commissioner and the Giugiaro family. Its brief appearance in the U.S. will surely be a memorable moment in the timeline of concept-inspired supercars.
