Since 1985, the Saga has been a symbol of national pride. Now, it returns with intelligent design, refined performance, and advanced connectivity — all engineered by Malaysian talent.
Built in Malaysia, Ready for the World
The All-New Saga is developed on the Advanced Modular Architecture (AMA) platform. It is the first PROTON model fully designed, engineered, and validated in Malaysia. Technical collaboration with Geely supports the project, but the car represents PROTON’s growing independence. The company now owns full Intellectual Property Rights and is prepared for future intelligent and autonomous technologies.

The All-New Saga follows PROTON’s I.C.O.N. philosophy, offering four key pillars:
- Impressive Performance (I): Powered by a new i-GT 1.5 engine with CVT, it delivers smooth, fuel-efficient driving at 4.9L/100 km. Electric Power Steering improves agility, while PROTON’s signature ride and handling ensure comfort.
- Comprehensive Safety (C): Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) include nine intelligent safety functions. Six airbags and PROTON’s Reinforced Safety Structure (RESS) provide extra protection.
- Optimised Intelligence (O): The 16-inch integrated dual screen combines the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system. It supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additional features include auto headlamps, Follow-Me-Home lighting, and headlamp levelling.
- Next-Gen Style (N): Full LED headlamps, LED rear taillights, and a refreshed cabin create a modern, sophisticated look. The front grille features the ‘Sulaman Songket’ motif, paired with two-tone 15-inch alloy wheels.

The All-New Saga continues to evolve as the people’s car. It is available in Standard, Executive, and Premium trims. Buyers can choose from five colours: Marine Blue, Space Grey, Ruby Red, Armour Silver, and Snow White. Prices start from RM40,000 to RM50,000, combining modern style with national pride.
