KUALA LUMPUR, 27 November 2025 — iCAUR Malaysia has launched the new iCAUR V23, its second model for the local market. The launch strengthens the brand’s position as a leader in electric SUVs with off-road capability.
The V23 is marketed as Malaysia’s first fully electric off-road SUV. Because of this, it aims to open a new “adventure BEV” category that blends performance, safety, and practicality.
At the launch, Chery International Executive Vice President Chen Chunqing said the iCAUR brand reflects Chery’s long-term strategy to build an intelligent and user-focused mobility ecosystem. Meanwhile, Chery Corporate Malaysia Executive Vice President Men Lin Bo added that the V23 meets the needs of a new generation of drivers who want electric power with everyday versatility.
Design Made for Electric Exploration
The iCAUR V23 takes inspiration from classic 4×4 models. However, it updates the look with a modern and expressive electric design. It measures 4,220 mm long, 1,915 mm wide and 1,845 mm tall, with a 2,735 mm wheelbase. As a result, it offers a planted stance while keeping the cabin comfortable.
The short overhangs help the SUV achieve a 42-degree approach angle and a 41-degree departure angle. In addition, it can climb gradients of up to 40%. The 210 mm ground clearance and 600 mm wading depth place it alongside traditional off-road SUVs.
Standard features include LED headlights, DRLs, LED tail lamps and sidesteps. The 2WD variant rides on 19-inch wheels, while the iWD variant upgrades to 21-inch wheels for a stronger visual presence.
Two Powertrain Options
For Malaysia, the iCAUR V23 comes in two versions.

Both versions feature a compact rear electric drive module that integrates key components. The iWD variant adds a front Permanent Magnet Motor to improve traction during challenging conditions.
Safety and Structure
The V23 uses a body structure made with 70% high-strength steel. In addition, the liquid-cooled Battery Management System protects the battery during long-term use. Six airbags and a full ADAS Level 2 system come standard, including AEB, ACC, TJA, BSD, RCTA and more.
Smart and User-Friendly Interior
Inside, the V23 features a 15.4-inch QuadHD touchscreen powered by a Snapdragon 8155 chip. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included, along with a 7-speaker audio system. Moreover, the 540-degree All View Monitor, TPMS and NFC access point add daily convenience.
Retro-style physical buttons sit on the centre console. The 2WD variant offers five drive modes, while the iWD adds an Off-Road mode as the sixth. Comfort is enhanced with ventilated and massage seats, and the rear seats can fold flat to increase boot space from 234 litres to 744 litres.
The V23 is available in six colours: Off Road Orange, Khaki White, Army Green, Slate Silver, Gravel Grey and Carbon Black.
Warranty and Pricing
The V23 includes a 7-year/150,000 km vehicle warranty and an 8-year/160,000 km battery and drive unit warranty. It also includes a battery health guarantee if capacity falls below 70%.

For the first 1,000 buyers, iCAUR Malaysia offers:
- A free 7 kW home charger (worth RM3,400)
- A 6.86-inch auxiliary instrument display (worth RM1,000)
- A 10-year/200,000 km extended warranty for the battery, electric motor and power control unit
Network Expansion
iCAUR Malaysia is nearing 20 network locations across Peninsular Malaysia, surpassing its earlier target. Outlets in Sabah and Sarawak are planned for Q1 2026.
