Shah Alam, 24 November 2025 – The Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) has identified 12 areas at risk of flooding after heavy rains hit the city in recent days.
MBSA warned residents to stay alert and avoid the affected areas when possible.
The areas at risk include:
- Taman Desa Kemuning (Section 35)
- Kampung Budiman (Section U14)
- Kampung Kubu Gajah (Section U17)
- Giant Shah Alam (Section 13)
- Taman Sri Lembayung (Section 25)
- Jalan Opera (Section U2)
- Persiaran Jubli Perak (Section 19)
- Jalan Mat Raji, Padang Jawa (Section 16)
- Jalan Mantap 25/126 (Section 25)
- Jalan Sentosa 25/129 (Section 25)
- Persiaran Budiman (Section 25)
- Persiaran Perusahaan (Section 23)
MBSA has deployed its Rapid Response Team (PANTAS) to monitor these locations and ensure that water pumps work properly.

Residents should use alternative routes if roads flood. They must also follow official instructions if authorities ask them to relocate to temporary evacuation centers (PPS). For emergencies, call MBSA PANTAS at 03‑5510 5811.
MBSA stressed that precaution is essential to prevent accidents. Officials will continue to track water levels and weather across Shah Alam.
