On September 4, 2025, journalist Jack Marsh revealed the astonishing story of a Vietnamese creator who transformed his girlfriend’s battered Toyota into a homemade Koenigsegg Jesko. What began as a modest $100 purchase for a dilapidated car evolved over the course of a year into a supercar replica so authentic-looking that it could easily pass for a multi-million-dollar Jesko.
The Vision of NHẾT TV

The effort was led by the YouTube channel NHẾT TV, which had gained a reputation for crafting near-indistinguishable replicas of high-end supercars. For this project, they stripped the Toyota down to its engine and chassis, then began constructing a new frame. Using clay to sculpt the body and various materials to fabricate custom panels, the team meticulously welded together every piece, turning their vision into reality.
Engineering Supercar Details
This was far from a rushed effort. Across the year-long build, NHẾT TV went above and beyond, even engineering the signature butterfly-style doors you find on a real Jesko. These details reflect a dedication that far exceeds what you’d expect from a DIY replica.
Performance Limitations
Naturally, one compromise remained: under the hood, the car still runs on the original Toyota engine—not the record-breaking powerplant of the genuine Jesko. While it may look the part, it doesn’t deliver the same performance.
A Spectacular Result

When all was said and done, the final result was nothing short of spectacular. Visually, the homemade Jesko could easily be mistaken for an actual model at first glance. Given NHẾT TV’s prior success—such as their Pagani Huayra build—it comes as no surprise that this project also reached such a high standard of craftsmanship.
What’s Next for the Replica
Now, all that remains is to equip the replica with power to match its exterior. The creators have hinted at taking the project further, with the next step potentially being the addition of “rocket power” to truly mirror the real deal.
