Inside the Peugeot Polygon Concept: Bold Design Meets New Technology

The Peugeot Polygon Concept has been revealed as the brand’s latest vision for future electric cars. It shows new ideas in design, technology, and the driving experience. Peugeot plans to bring several of these features to production by 2027.

A New Direction for Future Peugeot EVs

The Peugeot Polygon Concept introduces a sharp, geometric exterior style. The body uses bold lines and clean surfaces. Peugeot also fits gullwing doors to improve access. New micro-LED lights reshape the brand’s signature three-claw look into a more futuristic form.

Inside, the concept shows a new version of Peugeot’s i-Cockpit. The dashboard is gone. In its place, a large micro-LED display projects key information onto the lower part of the windshield. This setup gives the driver a wider view of the road.

Hypersquare Steering Shows Peugeot’s Next Big Innovation

A major highlight of the Peugeot Polygon Concept is the Hypersquare steering system. It replaces the traditional steering wheel with a square controller. Four circular pods sit at the corners of the unit. Each pod controls an important function, such as indicators, drive modes, and media.

This system uses steer-by-wire technology. Steering inputs travel through electronic signals instead of a mechanical link. Peugeot says the control setup gives a faster and more precise feel on the road. The brand plans to introduce this system in a production model in 2027.

Sustainable Cabin With Smart Storage

Peugeot uses recycled and 3D-printed materials throughout the cabin. The seats have 3D-printed shells and soft, single-piece foam. This design saves materials and weight. It also allows Peugeot to shape the seats in new ways.

The interior layout focuses on everyday use. There are built-in storage spaces for phones, headphones, and bags. The removal of the B-pillar and the forward-pushed windshield create a brighter and more open cabin.

Designed for a Digital and Connected Future

Peugeot revealed the concept alongside a virtual experience in Fortnite. This move highlights the brand’s shift toward digital-first engagement. The Peugeot Polygon Concept blends real-world innovation with online culture, showing how future models may appeal to a younger, tech-driven audience.

Peugeot has not released full performance details. However, the concept is expected to use a platform suited for small electric vehicles. Its main purpose is to preview design ideas and new technologies that will shape Peugeot’s next generation of EVs.
