A Global Stage for Automotive Excellence
Monterey Car Week is one of the most exclusive motoring celebrations in the world, drawing enthusiasts, collectors, and brands for a ten-day automotive spectacle along California’s scenic coast. In 2025, Rimac Automobili once again took center stage, hosting intimate gatherings that showcased its cutting-edge Nevera R alongside customer-driven examples of the Nevera and Nevera Time Attack across private hilltop residences in Monterey.
The Nevera R at the BINGO House

A standout installation was staged at the BINGO House—operated for the week by Tokyo’s BINGO Sports, the specialized dealer for both Rimac and Bugatti—where the much-anticipated Nevera R held court. This hypercar, boasting 2,107 hp, had already rewritten performance benchmarks earlier this year, setting 24 new records, with customer deliveries slated before year’s end.
Dynamic Presence on Monterey Roads

Beyond static displays, the Nevera R and its customer counterparts — including the Nevera Time Attack — were put through their paces. These high-performance machines could be spotted driving throughout Monterey, blending engineering prowess with the area’s breathtaking landscapes.
Exclusive Rimac Gathering

The experience culminated in a private event hosted by Rimac, which welcomed car owners, Bugatti Rimac executives, and brand representatives. It was both a celebration of innovation and a moment to strengthen bonds within the hypercar community.
Mate Rimac’s Reflections
Mate Rimac, founder and president of Rimac Group and CEO of Bugatti Rimac, described Monterey Car Week as “an amazing series of events.” He emphasized its importance as the perfect opportunity to connect with customers, reveal new developments, and share in the passion of the global car-loving community.
Engineering Evolution of the Nevera R

The Nevera R represents a leap forward in Rimac’s evolution—from Hyper GT to true Hyper Sports Car. Its development saw a complete overhaul of all major components, resulting in an additional 200 horsepower and a 15% increase in downforce. These engineering achievements were dynamically tested and validated at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and in record-breaking runs earlier this year.
Rimac’s Place in the Bugatti Rimac Partnership
Rimac Automobili, one half of the Bugatti Rimac partnership, combines next-generation EV technology with Bugatti’s century-old heritage. Since its founding in 2009 by Mate Rimac and the debut of the Concept_One in 2011, the company has consistently redefined what an electric hypercar can achieve. Today, the Rimac Campus near Zagreb serves as the company’s €200M global headquarters, housing Rimac Automobili and Rimac Technology under one roof.
