On July 21, 2025, BMW Group Malaysia introduced three highly anticipated models—the BMW iX xDrive60 M Sport Pro, BMW iX xDrive45 Sport, and the locally assembled BMW X5 xDrive40i M Sport—at a special showcase event, The Art of Driving 2025, held during one of Malaysia’s most prestigious golf tournaments. The launch underscores BMW’s unwavering commitment to redefining luxury through electrified mobility and a diversified vehicle portfolio, empowering customers with the “Power of Choice” to shape their driving experience.

Benjamin Nagel, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia, reaffirmed the brand’s leadership as both a premium automaker and EV provider. He highlighted that BMW’s luxury is not only about materials and design, but about offering flexibility, innovation, and ownership peace of mind. “Luxury is the power to choose,” he said, referencing BMW’s principles of Technology Openness and sustainable innovation.
Electrifying the Road Ahead: BMW iX xDrive60 M Sport Pro and xDrive45 Sport

The BMW iX remains the brand’s flagship fully electric Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV), and its two new variants bring greater athleticism and technological refinement. The iX xDrive60 M Sport Pro features a sportier profile with new M aerodynamic enhancements and 22-inch wheels. It delivers 544 hp and 765 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in 4.6 seconds. A massive 111.5 kWh battery allows a driving range of up to 701 km (WLTP), with rapid charging capabilities that offer 217 km of range in just 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, the iX xDrive45 Sport boasts 408 hp and 700 Nm of torque, with a 602 km electric range and 175 kW DC fast-charging support. Both variants include BMW Iconic Glow kidney grilles, ambient lighting, a Sky Lounge panoramic roof,

Harman Kardon sound systems, and advanced digital interfaces. The xDrive60 M Sport Pro variant adds unique M-themed design touches and more refined interior detailing.
The MILD Hybrid Champion: BMW X5 xDrive40i M Sport

The fourth-generation BMW X5 makes a striking return with an updated mild-hybrid powertrain.

Sporting a redesigned exterior including a glowing three-dimensional kidney grille, X-shaped DRLs, and sleek taillights, the new X5 also boasts a refreshed cabin featuring the BMW Curved Display and ambient lighting.
The 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol engine, integrated with a 48V mild hybrid system, delivers 381 hp and 540 Nm of torque.

This SUV accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 5.4 seconds while offering self-leveling air suspension for a more balanced on- and off-road ride.

With up to 1,870 litres of boot space and advanced driver assistance features, the X5 is built for luxury, performance, and versatility.
