In a rare moment in automotive history, Swedish hypercar maker Koenigsegg has completely sold out of every model in its current lineup. Whether it’s the Jesko, CC850, Gemera, or even the newly unveiled Sadair’s Spear, every unit is accounted for. The company now has no available cars or build slots left to offer, leaving even the wealthiest car collectors on a waiting list with no guarantees.
Limited Production, Unlimited Demand

The sold-out status extends across Koenigsegg’s entire portfolio. The Jesko, capped at 125 units, and the CC850, originally limited to 50 before increasing to 70, are all gone. The four-seat Gemera, with a total of 300 units planned, has also been completely reserved. Most notably, all 30 units of the hardcore Sadair’s Spear were claimed before the car’s official public reveal, demonstrating a fervent collector market that moves faster than press releases.
Christian von Koenigsegg’s Response
Founder and CEO Christian von Koenigsegg expressed a mixture of pride and frustration. While delighted by the brand’s popularity and the confidence of customers, he admitted it’s difficult to turn away new interest simply because there’s nothing left to sell. He confirmed that the company will begin accepting new orders only when future models are ready for production.
What Comes Next for Koenigsegg

While official details remain under wraps, industry insiders believe a successor to the Jesko could be in the works, alongside further development of Gemera-based variants. However, fans hoping for a fully electric Koenigsegg will need to wait. According to von Koenigsegg, electric hypercars don’t currently deliver the “soul” and excitement of combustion or hybrid engines, though he didn’t rule them out entirely for the future.
A Defining Moment for the Brand
Koenigsegg’s completely sold-out status reinforces its reputation as one of the most exclusive and desirable automotive brands in the world. With zero inventory and maximum anticipation, it now holds the rare distinction of being a carmaker that literally has nothing to sell—but everything to look forward to.
