MITI Akan Wajibkan Satu Pengecas EV Di Setiap Daerah Selangor, Johor

Kementerian Pelaburan, Perdagangan dan Industri (Miti) sedang bekerjasama dengan kerajaan Selangor dan Johor untuk memastikan setiap daerah mempunyai sekurang-kurangnya satu pengecas pantas arus terus (DC) bagi kegunaan kenderaan elektrik (EV).

Timbalan Menteri, Liew Chin Tong, berkata inisiatif ini adalah sebahagian daripada usaha kerajaan untuk mencapai sasaran 10,000 stesen pengecas EV menjelang 2025.

“Kami berharap selepas projek perintis dengan kerajaan Selangor dan Johor, program ini dapat diperluas ke seluruh daerah di kedua-dua negeri bagi memastikan akses yang menyeluruh kepada pengecas DC,” katanya ketika sesi soal jawab di Dewan Rakyat.

Liew menjawab soalan tambahan daripada Datuk Ku Abd Rahman Ku Ismail (Perikatan Nasional-Kubang Pasu), yang bertanya tentang strategi kerajaan untuk menyediakan infrastruktur pengecas EV yang mencukupi selaras dengan peningkatan penggunaan EV di seluruh negara.

Liew menjelaskan bahawa kini terdapat 500 pengecas DC di seluruh negara dan Miti telah meningkatkan sasaran mereka daripada 1,000 kepada 1,500 unit menjelang 2025, mengiktiraf peranan penting pengecas DC dalam mempercepatkan pengecasan EV.

“Kami mensasarkan untuk memasang 1,500 pengecas DC kerana ia dapat mengurangkan masa pengecasan dengan ketara,” tambah Liew.

Liew turut menekankan beberapa inisiatif untuk memperkukuhkan ekosistem dan industri EV tempatan, sebagai respons kepada soalan daripada Khoo Poay Tiong (Pakatan Harapan-Kota Melaka) mengenai usaha untuk menggalakkan pengeluaran EV tempatan dan menyokong Matlamat Pembangunan Lestari 2050.

“Sehingga 30 September, sebanyak 33,319 kenderaan elektrik (xEV), termasuk hibrid, hibrid plug-in, kenderaan elektrik bateri (BEV) dan kenderaan elektrik sel bahan bakar (FCEV), telah dijual, yang mewakili 5.11% daripada jumlah jualan kenderaan tahun ini. Selain itu, sebanyak 3,354 tempat pengecasan telah dipasang sehingga 31 Oktober,” katanya.
