Danish boutique supercar maker Zenvo is expanding its ambitious hypercar programme. Following the unveiling of the Aurora—a 6.6-litre quad-turbo V12 hybrid set to deliver around 1,850 bhp—attention has turned to a more compact “junior hypercar” underpinned by a naturally aspirated V‑10 powertrain.
A Scaled‑Down Titan
The Zenvo Aurora, designed by Christian Brandt and scheduled for production in late 2026, will be available in two distinct variants: the road‑focused Tur and the track‑oriented Agil, with production capped at 100 units (50 of each). The upcoming junior hypercar is expected to draw from this lineage but with a new personality and configuration.
Naturally Aspirated V10 Power
Zenvo’s chairman Jens Sverdrup has confirmed that the company’s modular V12 engine design can be adapted into a V10. This opens the door for the junior hypercar to use a high-revving, naturally aspirated V10 producing around 800 hp. Unlike the hybridised Aurora, this model will forego electrification for a pure, mechanical driving experience.
Engineered for Purity and Emissions Compliance
While the V10 is designed to function without hybrid systems, Zenvo acknowledges that future emissions regulations may require adjustments. Still, the engine’s modularity allows for flexible adaptation. The brand aims to preserve the raw character and sound of a naturally aspirated engine for as long as regulations permit.
Shared DNA with Aurora
The junior hypercar will likely share the same carbon monocoque chassis as the Aurora, allowing Zenvo to streamline production while maintaining structural integrity. Despite being smaller and potentially more accessible, this car will carry forward the design precision and craftsmanship that define Zenvo’s top-tier offerings.
Balanced Performance Over Numbers
Jens Sverdrup stressed that Zenvo does not chase performance numbers like top speed or lap times. Instead, the focus is on drivability, comfort, and usability—from crawling in first gear to high-speed precision. Zenvo’si goal is to deliver an engaging and usable driving experience, not just bragging rights.
Development in Motion
Zenvo is currently testing the Aurora with multiple prototypes while simultaneously progressing on the junior model. The company is conducting extensive engine bench tests, simulator development, and global homologation planning. With up to 500 units planned, the V10 junior hypercar is shaping up to be a cornerstone of Zenvo’s future lineup.
