PRO-NET Partners with DC Handal, JomCharge, and chargEV to Deploy Co-Branded EV Charging Stations

SUBANG JAYA, 19 August 2026 — PROTON New Energy Technology Sdn Bhd (PRO-NET), the subsidiary managing the Proton e.MAS brand, has signed strategic collaboration agreements with three major charge point operators (CPOs)—DC Handal, JomCharge, and chargEV. The partnership will establish Proton e.MAS-branded charging stations across Malaysia, with deployment scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2026.

Network Scope and Rollout Timeline

The initiative involves co-branding, marketing collaborations, and the expansion of charging infrastructure across high-density public hubs and interstate travel corridors.

App Integration and Tariffs

Under the terms of the agreement, Proton e.MAS owners who initiate and process payments through the proprietary Proton e.MAS mobile application will receive discounted charging rates at participating co-branded stations. Specific pricing schedules and site allocations will be finalized between PRO-NET and each individual operator.

The co-branded facilities integrate with the brand’s existing digital network, which currently maps over 4,700 charging points across Malaysia via the in-vehicle Integrated Live Charging Map and mobile application.
