Zeekr Malaysia Reaches 5,000 EV Deliveries, Introduces Extended Warranty Options and Infrastructure Plans

KUALA LUMPUR, 4 August 2026 — Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia has announced reaching 5,000 cumulative electric vehicle (EV) deliveries in the country. Coinciding with the milestone, the company has detailed several post-purchase initiatives, including new extended warranty packages, complimentary vehicle health checks, and a planned expansion of its charging infrastructure network.

Extended Warranty and Vehicle Inspection Offers

Zeekr Malaysia is introducing an Extended Warranty Programme open to both new and existing owners. New buyers can enroll within seven days of vehicle delivery, while existing owners are eligible to purchase the extended coverage through 30 September 2026.

The programme offers two structure tiers, both covering general vehicle components alongside high-voltage battery systems:

  • Silver Plan: Extends coverage to 8 years or 160,000 km.
  • Gold Plan: Extends coverage to 8 years or 180,000 km.

In addition to the warranty options, the company is offering a complimentary EV health inspection across all authorized service centers through 30 September 2026. The diagnostic process covers five key areas:

  • Power Battery System
  • Electric Powertrain
  • Body Control Module (BCM) System
  • Low Voltage Battery
  • Undercarriage

“Zeekr Power” Charging Network and DC Handal Partnership

To support its growing vehicle base, the company outlined plans for a dedicated charging initiative named “Zeekr Power.” The goal is to establish 30 charging stations across Malaysia over the next three years.

For its initial rollout, Zeekr Malaysia has partnered with charge point operator DC Handal to deploy ultra-fast charging locations along primary travel corridors, including the North-South Expressway. The installed hardware supports power outputs of up to 400 kW, with potential scaling up to 640 kW based on site system capacities.
