While not technically a full V-Series Blackwing model, Cadillac’s engineers have taken the base Lyriq and infused it with enough punch to wear the V badge proudly—marking the first time this performance label graces an electric vehicle.

At the heart of the Lyriq-V is a dual-motor setup that delivers up to 615 horsepower and 742 lb-ft of torque when Velocity Max mode is engaged. This feature, activated via the bespoke V-Mode, sharpens the throttle response and enables a launch mode that propels the hefty SUV from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds. According to real-time data from Cadillac’s own test runs, that number can dip as low as 3.0 seconds under ideal conditions—an incredible feat for a nearly 2.7-ton vehicle.
Handling that Defies Its Size
Though it carries considerable weight, the Lyriq-V handles with remarkable balance. Cadillac reworked the front and rear suspension systems with unique geometry, reinforced mounting points, and added hydraulic bushings for improved control. Most notably, the Lyriq-V is the only model in the Lyriq lineup equipped with adaptive dampers—helping the vehicle stay composed during hard cornering or rapid acceleration.
