Zeekr Malaysia Expands RM1.20/kWh Charging Rate Across All DC Handal Stations Nationwide

KUALA LUMPUR, 17 August 2026 — Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia has expanded its owner-exclusive direct current (DC) charging tariff of RM1.20 per kWh to encompass all DC Handal charging stations across Malaysia. The preferential rate was previously limited to selected co-branded Zeekr Power × DC Handal locations along major highway corridors.

Charging Network Expansion and Account Activation

The rate expansion allows Zeekr owners to access DC Handal’s entire operational network at the fixed RM1.20/kWh rate.

To activate the tariff, owners are required to complete an account verification process:

1. Download and register an account via the ChargEV mobile application.
2. Submit vehicle and ownership credentials through the official Zeekr onboarding form.
3. Match the email address registered on the onboarding form with the primary ChargEV account profile.

Infrastructure Development and Operational Context

The charging initiative coincides with Zeekr Malaysia surpassing 5,000 cumulative vehicle deliveries in the domestic market.

Eddy Lu, General Manager of Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia, stated that extending the standardized charging rate across DC Handal’s full network aims to broaden fast-charging accessibility and lower operational costs as the brand’s local fleet volume expands.
