Third-Generation Mazda CX-5 Launches in the Philippines with 2.5L Mild-Hybrid Powertrain

MANILA, 20 August 2026 — The third-generation Mazda CX-5 has officially gone on sale in the Philippines, offered exclusively in a single 2.5L AT AWD HEV Premium Plus variant. The C-segment SUV is priced at PHP 2.495 million (approximately RM164,000) and comes standard with an all-wheel-drive electrified powertrain.

The Philippine-spec CX-5 features Mazda’s e-Skyactiv G powertrain, pairing an internal combustion engine with a 24-volt mild-hybrid system:

The CX-5 is equipped with six airbags, dynamic stability control, front and rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera system.

Its standard advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) suite includes:

The CX-5 in the Philippines includes a three-year bumper-to-bumper warranty and a complimentary five-year scheduled maintenance package.

Regionally, the Philippine configuration mirrors the Japanese market setup, while differing from Indonesia, where the CX-5 is sold as a front-wheel-drive, non-hybrid 2.5-litre model (179 PS / 240 Nm). For Malaysia, official distributor Bermaz Motor has previously indicated an estimated entry price starting from RM170,000 ahead of its expected local debut.
