Malaysia Fuel Prices Nov 20–26: RON97 and Diesel Up, RON95 Remains Unchanged

The government has released the fuel prices for 20 to 26 November 2025, and the latest update shows small but notable changes for Malaysian motorists. RON97 and diesel in Peninsular Malaysia are both up by 3 sen, while RON95 remains stable for another week.

The Ministry of Finance confirmed that RON97 now costs RM3.28 per litre. Diesel users in Peninsular Malaysia will also pay slightly more, with the new price set at RM3.10 per litre. These increases follow last week’s higher adjustments, although the rise is more modest this time.

Meanwhile, RON95 petrol prices stay unchanged. The subsidised RON95 under the BUDI95 programme remains at RM1.99 per litre, while non-subsidised RON95 continues at RM2.65 per litre. In addition, diesel prices in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan remain stable at RM2.15 per litre, offering relief to motorists in East Malaysia.

These weekly revisions use the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM), which aligns local fuel prices with global crude oil trends. As global markets shift, the system adjusts prices to balance consumer costs and the government’s subsidy obligations.

The ministry said it will keep monitoring global oil prices. It also assured the public that it will take suitable measures to manage the impact on households and businesses.
