Nissan to Showcase the Future of Intelligent Mobility at Japan Mobility Show 2025

Tokyo, Japan — Nissan is preparing to make a strong impact at the upcoming Japan Mobility Show 2025. The event will feature the world debut of the all-new Nissan Elgrand and a refreshed Ariya EV crossover, alongside new technologies and electric models that highlight Nissan’s commitment to an intelligent, sustainable future.

A New Chapter for Nissan in Japan

Under the Re: Nissan strategy, the brand is focusing on its home market with a renewed spirit. The highlight will be the fourth-generation Elgrand, a model that has defined Japanese family luxury for nearly 30 years.

Now powered by Nissan’s third-generation e-POWER system, the all-new Elgrand delivers better fuel efficiency and smoother performance. It also features improved comfort, advanced safety systems, and a more premium interior. These updates make it perfect for modern family travel.

Meanwhile, the refreshed Ariya EV brings a sharper design and an updated cabin. It now includes Google-integrated infotainment, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, and suspension tuning designed for Japanese roads. Together, these upgrades make the Ariya more refined and practical than ever.

In local note, Nissan recently celebrates Navara X-Tremer launch in Kuantan. Read the story here.

Electrification at the Core

Nissan continues to lead in electrification. The brand will showcase the third-generation LEAF, alongside global EVs like the Micra from Europe and the N7 sedan from China. These models represent Nissan’s strategy to adapt electric mobility for different markets.

From the compact Roox Kei car to the powerful Patrol SUV, visitors can explore Nissan’s full range of intelligent vehicles. Each model reflects the company’s push toward innovation and sustainability.

Racing and Energy Innovation

Excitement also comes from the track. Nissan will display its Formula E Season 11 championship-winning race car, a symbol of its racing success and engineering strength.

The booth will feature an interactive Nissan Energy zone, showing how EVs can power homes and devices. Through Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) systems, visitors can see how Nissan aims to reduce energy costs and grid dependency.

Smarter Mobility for Society

Nissan will also reveal a prototype autonomous mobility service vehicle based on the Serena minivan. Starting trials in Yokohama this November, the project is designed to support Japan’s aging population. It shows Nissan’s goal of building technology that improves daily life and community transport.

Public Highlights

When the show opens to the public, Nissan’s booth will feature Japan-exclusive models. These include the 2026 Skyline 400R Limited Edition, the X-Trail Rock Creek Edition, and the Fairlady Z. The lineup combines heritage, performance, and the latest innovation—giving fans plenty to explore.
