A 100-vehicle owners convoy organised by Jetour Malaysia has assembled along Jalan Ampang fronting Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) on 19 September 2026, marking one of the brand’s largest domestic community gatherings in conjunction with the Malaysia Sarong Music Run 2026 celebrations.
- A 100-vehicle Jetour owners convoy is rolled out, bringing together owners of the Dashing, VT9, T1, and T2 models along Jalan Ampang fronting KLCC.
- The assembly serves as the opening automotive display ahead of the arrival of Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim to officiate the national lifestyle festival.
- The community drive sets the stage for an all-day brand showcase culminating in the Malaysian commercial premiere of the Jetour T2 i-DM plug-in hybrid SUV on the main stage.
The community convoy brings together owners across Jetour’s local vehicle portfolio—including the Dashing crossover, VT9, T1, and petrol-powered T2—reinforcing the brand’s “Travel+” lifestyle philosophy centered on road touring and outdoor exploration. Serving as the Title Sponsor and Official Car Partner for the event, Jetour has integrated the owners drive into the broader national festival schedule before official proceedings commence with the arrival of the Prime Minister.

With road closures established across the KLCC and Jalan Ampang perimeter to facilitate both the vehicle convoy and the running events, access to the precinct has been directed toward public rail connections via the LRT KLCC and MRT Ampang Park stations. Beyond the owners gathering, Jetour is operating interactive brand showcases at the KLCC Race Village and Pavilion Bukit Bintang, previewing its outdoor accessory ecosystems alongside current showroom models.

The daytime community activations serve as the precursor to Jetour’s headline product event of the evening: the official Malaysian launch of the Jetour T2 i-DM plug-in hybrid SUV at 8:00 PM on the main stage.
The T2 i-DM represents the electrified evolution of the boxy T2 off-road-styled SUV series. The plug-in hybrid powertrain integrates a 1.5-litre turbocharged direct-injection petrol engine with a dual-motor electric system and a three-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT). Together, the system generates a combined power output of 360 PS (265 kW) and 610 Nm of torque. Supported by an 18.4 kWh high-voltage lithium battery pack, the model delivers over 100 km of pure-electric range and an estimated total cruising range of up to 1,200 km on a full tank and charge.

Standard equipment on the PHEV includes Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a 360-degree panoramic view camera, and a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, with estimated retail pricing positioned around RM168,888. The vehicle unveil will be followed by a drone light show and an open-air night concert running through midnight.
