Rolls-Royce’s Most Dynamic Ghost Yet

The Rolls‑Royce Ghost Black Badge, now in its Series II iteration, seamlessly merges commanding presence with refined performance. Externally, the car exudes an aura of purpose, distinguished by newly designed headlights, tail-lights, and exclusive Black Badge front bumper styling. An imposing, lowered air dam and expanded outer air intakes deliver not only a menacing visual stance but improved cooling for the front brakes.

Bespoke Platform with Enhanced Handling

Under the skin, the Black Badge shares its platform with the standard Ghost—built on Rolls‑Royce’s bespoke aluminium “Architecture of Luxury”—yet it diverges through a specially calibrated version of the Planar suspension system. Featuring active all-wheel drive, four-wheel steering, adaptive damping, and ride-height control, this tuning enhances body control and driver engagement, elevating the experience beyond the softly majestic demeanor typical of Rolls‑Royce.

Powerful V12 Performance

Powering this model is the familiar 6.75-litre twin‑turbocharged V12, retuned to deliver 592 bhp and 664 lb·ft of torque—figures lifted from the Black Badge’s launch in 2021. Its eight-speed automatic gearbox, already impressively smooth, now shifts up to 50 percent faster under hard throttle, complemented by an active exhaust system that adds dramatic note to its acceleration.

The result is effortless surge coupled with a palpable richness in sound and feedback.

Balanced Weight with Supremely Composed Dynamics

Weighing in at approximately 2,576 kg (measured), the Ghost Black Badge maintains a regal presence on the scales. Its dynamics remain sumptuous yet assured—supple in roll, composed in corners, and obligingly eager when the mood demands.

Interior Refinement and Tech Upgrades

This Series II refresh extends beyond performance to embrace refinement and personalization. The cabin benefits from new material choices such as Grey Stained Ash wood and the intricate Duality Twill fabric, both visually distinctive and exceptionally crafted. The technology suite has been upgraded too, with enhancements including wireless connectivity, improved rear infotainment ports, and a stronger 1,400 W audio amplifier.

Subtle Exterior Design Enhancements

Exterior refinements also include revised daytime running lights that wrap around the headlights and rear lights inspired by the electric Spectre model.

These subtle design changes modernize the Black Badge’s visual identity without losing the stately charm of the original.

Exclusivity and Pricing

Price for the Ghost Series II Black Badge begins at around £337,545, placing it firmly at the pinnacle of chauffeur‑driven luxury. Its exclusivity is matched only by its bespoke nature, offering a level of customization limited only by imagination—and budget.

A New Kind of Rolls-Royce Experience

In essence, the Ghost Black Badge Series II redefines what it means to drive a Rolls‑Royce in the 21st century. It combines the marque’s timeless quietness, grace, and luxury with enhanced engagement, athletic poise, and aesthetic presence. It is, ultimately, a vehicle that communicates both power and subtlety, tailored for those who seek more than mere comfort—a statement of performance draped in elegance.
