Jetour T2 Dark Warrior Limited Edition Introduced in Malaysia: Limited 69-Unit Production Run

Jetour Malaysia has introduced a new variant of its T2 SUV, the Jetour T2 Dark Warrior Limited Edition. The release of this model coincides with Malaysia’s 69th Merdeka (Independence Day), and production is correspondingly limited to 69 units nationwide.

The vehicle is priced at RM167,600 (excluding on-the-road costs and insurance). This represents an RM10,800 increase over the standard Jetour T2 model, which currently has a base price of RM156,800.

Below is an overview of the specifications, modifications, and warranty terms associated with this limited-edition release.

Exterior Modifications and the Dark Warrior Package

The RM10,800 price premium primarily accounts for exterior cosmetic alterations and the inclusion of the “Dark Warrior Package.”

The vehicle is offered exclusively in a matte black exterior finish. The manufacturer has applied a uniform dark color scheme to various exterior components, including black roof rails, a blacked-out rear Jetour logo, and a black rear emblem. Red brake calipers are fitted to provide a contrasting color element.

Furthermore, the model includes several exterior accessories aimed at increasing the vehicle’s utility and altering its aesthetic profile:

  • A revised front grille design.
  • An additional front guard rail.
  • Black “Jetour” lettering applied to the bonnet.
  • A roof rack system.
  • A modular side ladder designed for roof access.
  • A side hanging plate for exterior mounting.

Powertrain, Drivetrain, and Interior Specifications

Mechanically, the Dark Warrior Limited Edition is identical to the standard Jetour T2. It utilizes the same 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four petrol engine. The powertrain is mated to a seven-speed wet dual-clutch automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system that features seven selectable drive modes.

The interior appointments and technological features also remain unchanged from the standard model. The vehicle includes a digital instrument cluster, a large central infotainment touchscreen, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
