IPOH, 21 August 2026 Tesla Malaysia has opened its latest V4 Supercharging station at AEON Mall Kinta City in Ipoh, Perak. Equipped with Starlink satellite connectivity, the facility serves as a transit charging location along the primary north-south corridor connecting Singapore, Peninsular Malaysia, and Thailand.
The site will offer complimentary charging sessions for Tesla owners from 21 to 23 August 2026.
Technical Specifications and Network Footprint
The Ipoh installation utilizes Tesla’s V4 charging hardware, capable of delivering peak power outputs up to 250 kW.

Vehicle Pricing and Incentives
Tesla Malaysia’s current vehicle lineup and retail pricing structure in the local market include:
- Model 3: Starting from RM149,000
- Model Y: Starting from RM198,000
Purchases currently include 3,000 km of complimentary Supercharging credits. For the Model Y Premium RWD, buyers are offered a choice between an RM13,000 trade-in rebate or a fixed financing rate starting from 0.88% per annum (non-combinable).
Referral Programme Structure
Tesla has expanded its “Refer and Earn” program to include the Model Y:
- Referred Buyers: The first 10 buyers who order a Model 3 or Model Y via an owner referral link receive a RM1,000 price deduction.
- Referring Owners: Existing owners receive RM500 in Tesla credits per completed qualifying vehicle order, redeemable for Supercharging credits or software options.
