Hong Leong Industries Posts 22.6% Net Profit Growth in Q4 FY2026 to RM143.6 Million

KUALA LUMPUR, 20 August 2026 — Hong Leong Industries Berhad (HLI), the assembler and distributor of Yamaha motorcycles in Malaysia, has reported a 22.55% (22.6%) increase in net profit for the fourth quarter ended 30 June 2026 (Q4 FY2026). In its filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group recorded a net profit of RM143.59 million on a quarterly revenue of RM915.58 million.

Full-Year FY2026 Financial Results

For the full financial year ended 30 June 2026 (FY2026), Hong Leong Industries posted cumulative net profit growth driven by sustained domestic demand for two-wheelers and production efficiencies:

  • Cumulative Revenue: Increased to RM3.69 billion (RM3,687.67 million) from RM3.57 billion (RM3,570.36 million) in FY2025.
  • Cumulative Net Profit: Rose 18.12% to RM574.11 million compared to RM486.03 million in the preceding financial year.
  • Full-Year EPS: Advanced to 180.41 sen per share compared to 152.89 sen per share in FY2025.
  • Dividends: Declared total dividends of 100.00 sen per share for FY2026, an increase from the 80.00 sen per share distributed in FY2025.

Operational and Business Segments

Hong Leong Industries’ operations comprise two primary divisions:

  • Motorcycles and Associated Components: Manufacturing, assembly, and distribution of Yamaha motorcycles, scooters, and genuine replacement parts through its majority-owned subsidiary, Hong Leong Yamaha Motor Sdn. Bhd. (HLYM).
  • Building Materials: Production and distribution of ceramic wall and floor tiles under the Guocera brand, alongside industrial and marine supply distribution.
