First in Southeast Asia
Construction has officially begun on the Porsche Experience Centre (PEC) in Singapore, making it the first facility of its kind in Southeast Asia. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on a 14-hectare site near Changi Airport, with the opening scheduled for 2027. This will be the eleventh Porsche Experience Centre worldwide, following Toronto’s opening in June 2025.
World-Class Driving Facilities
The Singapore PEC will feature a two-kilometre handling circuit, a drift circle, and a drift handling track. Visitors can immerse themselves in themed exhibitions, enjoy racing simulators, explore rotating displays of Porsche cars, and view artifacts from the Porsche Museum archives. Dining options and lifestyle areas will also be included, along with a fully integrated after-sales facility, the first of its kind among PECs.
Commitment to Sustainability
Aligned with Singapore’s Green Plan 2030, the centre will incorporate sustainable infrastructure and an electric vehicle fleet, ensuring the facility is both forward-looking and environmentally conscious.
Strategic Partnership with Changi Airport Group
The groundbreaking event also marked the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Porsche AG, Porsche Asia Pacific, and Changi Airport Group. The agreement aims to integrate the PEC into the broader Changi aviation and tourism precinct, creating added value for both visitors and the local economy.
A Milestone for Porsche in Southeast Asia
Matthias Becker, executive board member for sales and marketing at Porsche AG, called the project an important milestone for the brand globally and particularly for Southeast Asia. Hannes Ruoff, CEO of Porsche Asia Pacific, highlighted that the new centre will serve as a hub for customer engagement and brand immersion, providing seamless and distinctively Porsche experiences for visitors.
