Incident During Kampung Sungai Baru Operation
Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Commissioner Datuk Fadil Marsus confirmed that arrests have been made after a senior officer, Assistant Commissioner Sulizmie Affendy Sulaiman, was injured during an enforcement operation in Kampung Sungai Baru. The Dang Wangi police chief suffered a head injury after being struck by a rock while officers carried out duties linked to a court-ordered redevelopment project.
Fadil Marsus Expresses Strong Displeasure

Commissioner Fadil said he was “extremely upset” over the attack, stressing that such violence should not have happened. He added that the incident appeared to be instigated by individuals seeking to take advantage of tensions between residents and enforcement authorities.
Arrests and Ongoing Investigation

While details of the suspects have not been disclosed, Fadil confirmed that arrests have been made. He also assured that firm action would be taken against anyone attempting to disrupt public order. Sulizmie’s injuries remain under investigation.

The clash arose during a court-ordered operation to cut electricity supplies and evict families from 26 individual lots, covering 37 terrace houses slated for redevelopment.
