Lai Wai Kiat Unveils Five Variants Of Indian Together

A Historic Launch in Malaysia
Indian Motorcycle Malaysia, under Spirit Lake Motor Sdn. Bhd. and AFY Mobility Industries (AMI), has officially introduced the highly anticipated 2025 Indian Scout Series to the Malaysian market. The launch, held at the Bumirai Showroom in Petaling Jaya on 4 September 2025, was officiated by Mr. Lai Wai Keat, Brand Manager of Indian Motorcycle Malaysia. This event marked not just the unveiling of new motorcycles but also a reaffirmation of Indian Motorcycle’s commitment to innovation, heritage, and the growing riding community in Malaysia.

Celebrating a Century of Heritage

For over a hundred years, the Indian Scout has stood as a symbol of American design and tradition. The arrival of the 2025 lineup brings this legacy into a new era, ensuring Malaysian riders gain access to one of the most advanced midsized cruisers in the world. The launch represents a deeper connection with local riders, reflecting the brand’s gratitude for their passion and support.

A Powerful New Lineup

The 2025 Indian Scout lineup is built around the all-new liquid-cooled, 60-degree V-Twin Speed Plus engine. This 1250cc powerhouse delivers 105 horsepower and 108 Nm of torque at 6,300 rpm, setting a new benchmark for performance in its class. At the top of the range, the Indian 101 Scout debuts with an upgraded version of this engine, producing 111 horsepower and over 111 Nm of torque, combined with a six-speed transmission for a smooth and commanding ride.

Five Distinct Models for Every Rider
The new Scout series is available in five unique variations, each offering its own personality and appeal. The lineup includes the premium performance-focused 101 Scout, the authentic and timeless Scout Classic, the nostalgic Super Scout, the raw and iconic Scout Bobber, and the aggressive Sport Scout. Together, these models blend tradition with modern engineering, redefining what the Scout means for a new generation of riders.

Technology Meets Tradition
Beyond its classic styling, the 2025 Scout integrates cutting-edge features. Riders can enjoy ABS braking and LED lighting as standard across all trims. Higher trims, such as the Limited and Limited+ Tech, offer additional advancements like ride modes (Sport, Standard, and Rain), traction and cruise control, keyless ignition, and a vibrant 4-inch LCD TFT display powered by Indian’s RIDE COMMAND system. The Limited+ Tech trim goes even further with RIDE COMMAND+ connected technology, full smartphone integration, turn-by-turn navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, and USB charging. These features ensure that modern convenience blends seamlessly with the Scout’s timeless cruiser DNA.

Strengthening the Brand in Malaysia
This launch represents more than just motorcycles—it marks Indian Motorcycle Malaysia’s dedication to elevating the brand’s presence locally by bringing global models directly to Malaysian enthusiasts. It reflects Spirit Lake Motor Sdn. Bhd.’s mission to inspire the next generation of riders and continue the legacy of one of America’s most iconic motorcycle brands.

Pricing for the 2025 Scout Series
The new lineup offers a range of pricing options, starting at RM103,900 for the Scout Bobber (Standard) and going up to RM139,600 for the high-performance 101 Scout (Limited +Tech). Models are available in striking color options such as Sunset Red Metallic, Black Metallic, Spirit Blue Metallic, Nara Bronze Metallic, and Ghost White Metallic with Graphics, offering riders plenty of choices to express their individuality.
