Proton e.MAS 5 Goes Nationwide with MISI 5 Tour Ahead of Launch

Proton New Energy Technology Sdn Bhd (PRO-NET), a subsidiary of PROTON, has kicked off the MISI 5 Tour—a national roadshow previewing the highly anticipated Proton e.MAS 5. The vehicle, set to be the most accessible entry-level EV in Malaysia, will tour five regions across 13 states and 29 towns between August and October 2025. This initiative offers Malaysians a unique opportunity to experience the vehicle firsthand ahead of its official launch.

Engaging Malaysians Through Direct Experience

The MISI 5 Tour brings the Proton e.MAS 5 to popular tourist destinations and Proton e.MAS dealerships, allowing the public to explore the car through static displays, guided walkarounds, and interactive exhibits. The event aims to connect directly with potential buyers—young professionals, families, and first-time EV users—by showcasing how the e.MAS 5 fits seamlessly into their daily lives.

Tailored Features for Everyday Use

The Proton e.MAS 5 is built with real-world practicality in mind. With tech-savvy features like real-time charge planning and pre-cooling, it addresses everyday needs. The spacious, flexible interior allows for everything from gym bags to groceries, while fast-charging capabilities and advanced safety features offer convenience and peace of mind. Whether navigating traffic, handling errands, or heading out on weekend getaways, the e.MAS 5 is designed to support every kind of lifestyle.

Tour Stops Enriched by Influencer Engagement

Each region of the tour will highlight a unique lifestyle persona and influencer challenge to capture local interests and culture. In the Central region, Karl Shafek will convert the e.MAS 5 into a mobile beauty studio. Down South, Johan Eskandar explores cultural and pet-friendly spots. Soyabelacan will serve dishes from the EV’s frunk up North, while muralist Zameer Pentbrush turns the vehicle into a moving artwork on the East Coast. In East Malaysia, Ain Ramli will host a record-breaking haunted livestream using the EV’s tech features.

Tour Dates and Locations

The MISI 5 Tour begins in the Central region from 9 to 17 August, with stops at both Proton e.MAS dealerships and iconic landmarks like KLCC, Batu Caves, and Putra Mosque. It then travels North (21–25 August), East Coast (4–8 September), South (13–21 September), and ends in East Malaysia (25 September–5 October). Visitors can expect engaging on-site activities and direct interaction with the vehicle at each stop.

A National Push Toward EV Adoption

This tour is not just a product showcase; it’s part of Proton e.MAS’s broader mission to promote EV adoption nationwide. The brand, first revealed in June 2024, is dedicated to creating a sustainable transport ecosystem backed by robust aftersales support and an expanding dealership network.

Stay Connected

Updates, behind-the-scenes content, and influencer challenges from the MISI 5 Tour can be followed on Proton e.MAS’s official channels on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Xiaohongshu. Malaysians are encouraged to join the experience and be part of this electrifying journey.
