Electrified Powertrain with 1,000 PS Output
BRABUS has officially unveiled the BRABUS 1000, a hyper-hybrid based on the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance. This electrified monster combines a heavily reworked 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with an electric motor to deliver a staggering 1,000 PS (986 hp) and 1,820 Nm of torque, electronically limited to 1,620 Nm to protect the drivetrain.
Engine Modifications and Mechanical Enhancements

To achieve these numbers, BRABUS increased the bore and stroke of the V8 engine, raising displacement to 4,407 cc. The engine now includes forged pistons, a billet-aluminium crankshaft, BRABUS-specific turbochargers, and a stainless-steel exhaust with butterfly valves. A specially tuned engine management system ensures smooth synergy between all upgraded components, producing 796 PS and 1,250 Nm of torque from the combustion engine alone.
Performance That Rivals Hypercars

The combined hybrid powertrain launches the BRABUS 1000 from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.6 seconds, outpacing even the McLaren W1. It reaches 200 km/h in 9.5 seconds and hits 300 km/h in 23.6 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 320 km/h—matching the base AMG model.
Carbon-Fibre Aerodynamics and Visual Upgrades

The exterior receives a complete BRABUS carbon-fibre aero kit designed in a wind tunnel. Visible elements include carbon mirror covers, arch extensions, a deep rear diffuser framing the quad 76 mm exhaust tips, and a distinctive rear wing for enhanced high-speed stability. The chassis is lowered by 20 mm with BRABUS-tuned KW adjustable sport springs.
Staggered Forged Wheels and High-Performance Tyres

The BRABUS 1000 rides on ultra-light 21-inch front and 22-inch rear forged Monoblock Z wheels. These CNC-milled wheels are paired with high-grip tyres from Continental or Hankook—305/30 ZR21 up front and 335/25 ZR22 at the rear—emphasising both aesthetics and performance.
Masterpiece Interior with Bespoke Craftsmanship

Inside, BRABUS introduces its “Masterpiece” level upholstery featuring hand-stitched black leather with perforated quilted “Shell” motifs.

The cabin is detailed with carbon trim, a black Dinamica microfiber headliner, and subtle nods to BRABUS’s 1977 founding, including “77” emblems on seats, floor mats, and even the trunk lining.
Euro 6D Compliance and Exclusive Pricing
Despite its extreme performance, the BRABUS 1000 meets Euro 6D ISC-FCM emissions regulations. Priced from €445,900 (approx. USD 515,000), this hybrid super-coupe is available in limited numbers through BRABUS’s bespoke ordering process.
Conclusion
The BRABUS 1000 exemplifies the perfect blend of monstrous power, hybrid efficiency, and handcrafted luxury. It raises the bar for what a tuned electrified performance car can be—offering extreme acceleration, distinctive styling, and premium craftsmanship in one audacious package.
