Bugatti has officially opened its brand-new, state-of-the-art production facility in Molsheim, France. Strategically located next to the historic Château Saint Jean, the new atelier blends sleek modern design with the architectural soul of Bugatti’s legacy. The structure features expansive glass walls and a living roof, designed to complement the iconic château and pay tribute to the brand’s deep roots.
Built for the Tourbillon Era

This new facility has been purpose-built to support the upcoming Bugatti Tourbillon hypercar. Marking a significant transition for the brand, the atelier doubles Bugatti’s production capacity and stands as a symbol of the company’s leap into the hybrid era. The Tourbillon will feature an all-new naturally aspirated V16 engine paired with a powerful electric drivetrain to produce a combined 1,800 horsepower. Only 250 units of this limited masterpiece will be hand-built, with deliveries starting in 2026.
Modern Design Meets Legacy

Inside the facility, every detail has been crafted to reflect Bugatti’s obsession with excellence. From the expansive floor space to the customer-focused showroom, the entire layout is designed not only for manufacturing precision but also to immerse visitors in the Bugatti experience. The production line is clean, orderly, and silent—more resembling an art studio than a car factory.
A Vision by Mate Rimac
Mate Rimac, CEO of Bugatti Rimac, described the new atelier as more than just a workplace. He emphasized its architectural harmony with the château and its symbolic role in Bugatti’s future. The new building embodies the company’s DNA: timeless luxury, groundbreaking technology, and unmatched craftsmanship. Designed to reflect beauty as much as function, the facility offers panoramic views and natural lighting throughout.
Preparing for the Next Chapter

With the new production centre now ready, Bugatti is poised to enter one of the most significant chapters in its modern history. The Tourbillon represents a fusion of heritage and innovation, and this atelier is the birthplace of that vision. Built to meet the demands of a new kind of hypercar, the facility is where tradition meets the future.
