AC GT SuperSport Unveiled for the US Market
AC Cars has introduced the GT SuperSport, a radical evolution of the Cobra tailored exclusively for the American market. Produced by AC Cars America, the hyper-limited model will see only 25 units built, with each starting at around US$550,000 before tax. Every unit is customized through a bespoke design process, with deliveries set to begin in 2027.
Over 1,000 Horsepower V8 for Hypercar-Level Performance

At its heart lies a heavily re-engineered V8 engine capable of producing up to 1,025 hp. This immense output puts the GT SuperSport in direct competition with modern hypercars, but with a distinctively old-school powertrain that favors raw, mechanical drama over hybrid complexity.
Aggressive Aero with First-Ever Fixed Rear Wing

Aerodynamics play a major role in this redesign. A fixed rear wing—a first for any Cobra—joins a full aero package including side skirts, a rear diffuser, and a reshaped front end with a larger grille. These modifications not only improve downforce but give the GT SuperSport an unmistakably aggressive presence.
Handcrafted Exclusivity with Collector Appeal
Each GT SuperSport will be hand-built to the owner’s preferences, offering bespoke paint, trim, and commemorative detailing. AC promises that no two cars will be the same, enhancing its allure among collectors and enthusiasts alike.
CEO’s Vision: Bridging Heritage and Modern Engineering
David Conza, CEO of AC Cars, stated that the GT SuperSport represents the brand’s boldest leap forward, while still honoring its legacy. He emphasized the car’s balance between timeless lineage and cutting-edge performance.
A Rival to Ferrari SF90 in Price, But Rarer and Louder

Though priced similarly to the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, the GT SuperSport offers a radically different experience—favoring pure V8 theatrics over hybrid technology. It represents a return to visceral driving, making it a unique offering in today’s tech-heavy supercar world.
