Debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed
Lanzante, the British performance car specialist best known for its McLaren conversions, is preparing to unveil its first proprietary supercar at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed. Named the 95-59, the model pays tribute to the legendary McLaren F1 GTR #59 that won the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Inspired by McLaren with Unique Design

The new car is based on a McLaren platform—most likely the Speedtail—but introduces significant changes, most notably a center-seating three-seat layout, reminiscent of the McLaren F1.
Design duties were handled by Paul Howse, a former McLaren designer behind the P1, 720S, and P1 GTR, ensuring that the vehicle retains authentic motorsport-inspired DNA.
Limited Production and Iconic Styling

Only 59 units of the 95-59 will be built, making it an ultra-exclusive offering. The exterior showcases exposed carbon fibre bodywork finished in the iconic Ueno Grey, the same shade as the original 1995 Le Mans-winning F1 GTR. The aggressive styling includes LED taillights akin to the McLaren P1, a floating rear wing, bold diffuser, and a center-mounted exhaust.
Performance and Practical Touring Capability

Though detailed powertrain specifications remain under wraps, Lanzante aims for a power-to-weight ratio of 700 hp per tonne. Unlike many track-only specials, the 95-59 is designed for real-world use, promising grand touring comfort, storage capacity, and refined on-road performance.
Legacy of McLaren Transformations

Lanzante has earned a formidable reputation through its high-end McLaren transformations, such as road-converted P1 GTRs, bespoke LM25 editions, and custom P1 Spiders. The 95-59 represents the culmination of this expertise, blending racetrack potency with long-distance usability.
Positioned Above McLaren Supercars
While pricing details are yet to be confirmed, the 95-59 is expected to command a premium price—potentially surpassing even McLaren’s top-tier offerings. This places it in the hyper-exclusive league of vehicles reserved for serious collectors and connoisseurs.
Anticipation Builds for July Reveal
With its world premiere slated for early July, anticipation is high to see how Lanzante has translated decades of McLaren-focused engineering into its own ultra-rare grand tourer. The 95-59 promises to be more than just another supercar—it’s an interpretation of motorsport heritage and luxury mobility fused into a singular, stunning vision.
