Introduced in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the BMW 3 Series, the performance sedan represents the peak of power, innovation, and driver-focused luxury within the 3 Series range. As the most powerful variant in the locally assembled lineup, it continues the legacy of delivering “Sheer Driving Pleasure” with a dynamic blend of M Performance engineering and refined comfort.

This new model marks a significant milestone in BMW Malaysia’s commitment to offering high-performance vehicles built on home soil. As Benjamin Nagel, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia, emphasized, the BMW 3 Series has long been cherished by Malaysian drivers and plays a central role in many of BMW Malaysia’s key events in 2025. The launch of the new M340i xDrive M Sport Pro adds another chapter to this celebration.

The new BMW M340i xDrive M Sport Pro features an assertive and athletic design. At the front, it sports the signature kidney grille flanked by Adaptive LED headlights with High Beam Assistant and M Lights Shadowline. The muscular body lines, M Aerodynamics package, and distinctive 19-inch M light alloy wheels give the vehicle a commanding presence. At the rear, dual exhaust tailpipes and an M rear spoiler round out the sporty aesthetic. The M high-gloss Shadowline trim adds a sleek finish to the overall profile.

The Aluminium Rhombicle Anthracite trim, M headliner in anthracite, and M leather steering wheel complete the athletic interior theme. The 12.3-inch instrument display and 14.9-inch touchscreen are powered by BMW Operating System 8.5, seamlessly integrating with the Harman Kardon Surround Sound System for an immersive experience.

At the heart of the M340i xDrive M Sport Pro lies a 3.0-litre BMW TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder engine, capable of producing 387 hp and 500 Nm of torque. The powertrain is mated to an eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission and BMW’s intelligent xDrive all-wheel drive system, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 4.4 seconds. Standard features like Adaptive M Suspension, M Sport Differential, and Variable Sport Steering ensure razor-sharp handling and superior control.

The new model comes with a host of advanced driver assistance systems including Driving Assistant, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning, and Active Cruise Control with Stop&Go.
