The Apollo IE, a collaboration between Apollo Automobil GmbH and Manifattura Automobili Torino, represents a remarkable return for the brand, which hadn’t produced a car since the Gumpert Apollo more than a decade earlier.
Its name, Italian for “Intense Emotion,” speaks perfectly to its uncompromising design, its sculptural form expertly penned by Jowyn Wong, and its track-focused performance. Since the model’s debut in 2017 and its development partnership with HWA AG (an AMG spin-off) in 2018, only ten examples have been produced—and to all accounts, each one has been sold.
