Berlin, 28 April 2025 — Ferrari has once again reaffirmed its design prowess with the 12Cilindri and 12Cilindri Spider models being honored with the prestigious iF Design Gold Award at the 2025 iF Design Awards ceremony held today in Berlin. These two models were the only cars among 10,500 entries from over 70 nations to receive one of the 75 coveted Gold Awards.

Praised for their “ingenious use of graphic elements that wrap the 3D surfaces” and a design that is both “thrilling and reassuring,” the 12Cilindri and 12Cilindri Spider reflect the unparalleled vision of the Ferrari Design Centre under the leadership of Flavio Manzoni. The judges noted how the design echoes Ferrari’s rich heritage while seamlessly integrating cutting-edge aerodynamics and modern aesthetics.
In addition to the Gold Awards, Ferrari’s F80 model also received an iF Design Award, further underscoring the Maranello marque’s commitment to design excellence that merges form and function.

Inspired by Ferrari’s legendary front-engined V12 Grand Tourers from the 1950s and ’60s, the 12Cilindri is a two-seater that embodies elegance, performance, and versatility. Notable design innovations include active aerodynamics, a front-hinged clamshell bonnet, and the signature twin-pair exhaust pipes.
With these accolades, Ferrari continues to set benchmarks in the automotive design world, affirming its status as a symbol of luxury, performance, and innovation.
