STUTTGART, 17 August 2026 — Mercedes-Benz has introduced a mid-cycle update for its combustion-engine C-Class sedan.The revision incorporates updated exterior styling elements, revised interior controls, an updated electrified powertrain lineup, and the integration of the proprietary Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS).The updated model is scheduled to arrive at U.S. dealerships in the first half of 2027.
Exterior Styling and AMG Line Plus Package

The refreshed C-Class features revised front and rear styling along with expanded exterior lighting options:
- Radiator Grille & Lighting:An updated front grille incorporating chrome star motifs with an integrated LED illuminated surround and central illuminated Mercedes-Benz badge.Headlamps and taillamps feature brand-specific star-pattern lighting signatures.
- Exterior Lighting Features:Side sills include integrated LED projectors that cast a Mercedes-Benz pattern onto the ground during entry and exit, paired with side mirror star projectors.
- Body & Wheel Design:Re-profiled front and rear bumpers with gloss black and chrome accents, accompanied by newly styled 18-inch and 19-inch wheel designs, including two optional 19-inch AMG wheel designs.
- AMG Line Plus Package:An optional package introducing a gloss black rear spoiler lip, gloss black tailpipe finishers, the Night Package, and an interior package with sports seats featuring red contrast stitching and red seat belts.
Digital Architecture and MBUX Virtual Assistant

The updated model incorporates the fourth-generation MBUX infotainment suite powered by the centralized MB.OS architecture, enabling full-vehicle over-the-air (OTA) software updates.

Powertrain and Dynamics

The model continues to offer electrified internal combustion engines integrated with 48-volt mild-hybrid systems across the range, paired with a retuned suspension layout intended to balance high-speed stability with ride comfort.
Cabin Architecture and Layout Retained from Pre-Facelift Model
The interior retains the core dashboard architecture and cabin geometry of the pre-facelift W206 model, carrying over the 12.3-inch freestanding digital instrument cluster, the portrait-oriented 11.9-inch central display, and the distinctive rounded air vents. While the vehicle introduces updated MB.OS software and minor revisions to the multifunction steering wheel controls, the structural layout, center console dimensions, and seating arrangement remain identical to the previous iteration.
Market Release and Executive Statement
The updated C-Class will be distributed across global markets, with North American deliveries set to commence in the first half of 2027.
