The news comes alongside official Road Transport Department registration data revealing that the Perodua Bezza finished the first half of 2026 as Malaysia’s best-selling vehicle, closely trailed by the Proton Saga.

JPJ registration data reveals a tight battle at the top of the national sales leaderboard. The Perodua Bezza secured the overall first-half championship title with 47,463 registered units. It narrowly edged out its primary rival, the Proton Saga, which recorded 44,234 units—leaving a narrow gap of just 3,229 units between first and second place.
