Kimera Automobili has unveiled the EVO38, the highly anticipated successor to its celebrated EVO37. Revealed on 12 August 2025, ahead of its Californian debut at Pebble Beach Concours, the EVO38 immediately commands attention with its stunning deep blue and tan livery, an aesthetic as bold as its technical prowess.
Twin-Charged Power with Hybrid Assistance

This new model takes the twin-charged engine concept of the EVO37—a 2.2-litre four-cylinder boosted by both supercharger and turbocharger—and ramps it up to deliver an exhilarating 600 bhp. The powertrain now features a 48-volt mild-hybrid system that enhances responsiveness and adds elasticity to its delivery.
While retaining a six-speed manual gearbox, Kimera has routed all that power to all four wheels via a selectable torque-split system, offering precise handling and drive dynamics.
Advanced Chassis and Lightweight Design
Underneath, the EVO38’s chassis has been reimagined with pushrod suspension and a reinforced strut-tower cross brace that cleverly integrates turbo-cooling technology. These upgrades exploit overpressure from the wastegate valve to improve both performance and reliability. Despite its hybrid system and all-wheel drive, the EVO38 weighs less than the already lightweight EVO37, which itself tipped the scales at just 1,000 kg.
A Driver-Centric Cockpit

Inside, the cockpit is a celebration of high craftsmanship and raw mechanical beauty. A billet-milled aluminum gearbox tower dominates, accompanied by a hydraulic handbrake and an exposed central driveshaft housed in a glass tunnel—bringing every ounce of the EVO38’s mechanical might into the cabin’s midst. Advanced electronics let drivers fine-tune mapping, suspension, traction control, and ABS—tailoring the experience from slick tarmac to windy climbs.
Passion Over Numbers
Kimera’s ethos with the EVO38 appears to transcend mere technical specifications. While it’s tempting to chase velocity or lap times—as many leading supercar manufacturers do—Kimera places emotion and passion at the heart of its design philosophy. Every detail, from the aesthetics to the drive, is crafted to stir the soul, not just showcase numbers.
Exclusivity and Collectibility
True to its name, the EVO38 is rarer than ever. Only 38 units will be produced, and all but a handful have already been spoken for—making it not just a performance marvel, but a scarce collector’s gem.
