Ferrari took center stage at the Goodwood Festival of Speed by unveiling the all-new F80, the direct successor to the legendary LaFerrari. This hypercar pushes the boundaries of design and performance, blending extreme track-focused aggression with road-going finesse.
V6 Hybrid Powertrain Inspired by Racing
At the heart of the F80 is a compact 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, derived from Ferrari’s endurance racing efforts, particularly its Le Mans-winning prototypes. This engine is paired with three electric motors—one at the rear and two on the front axle—resulting in a total output of 1,183 bhp.
Blistering Performance Figures
The F80 is Ferrari’s most powerful road car to date, delivering a 0–62 mph time of just 2.15 seconds and a top speed exceeding 217 mph. This performance is made possible by the lightweight hybrid system and the ultra-responsive eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
Advanced Aerodynamics and Chassis Technology
Ferrari employed a carbon-fibre tub with aluminium subframes and inboard suspension by Multimatic. Active aerodynamic components, a tilted engine for better underfloor airflow, and innovative damper systems help the F80 generate over one tonne of downforce.

The F80 is also a celebration of Ferrari’s 80th anniversary. Limited to just 799 units, all of which are already sold, the car represents a technological milestone and a tribute to Ferrari’s heritage.
